about me

My name is Mylz (she/her), like the “miles” in milestones. I founded milestones play therapy & counseling LLC to make addressing childhood mental health approachable, creative, and developmentally appropriate through play therapy! I recognize that as a parent or caregiver, you are the expert on your child. And sometimes you might need support in helping your child maintain mental wellness and achieve their developmental milestones. This is where I come in to decipher what's working, what’s not working, and how we can address what’s not working by using a strengths-based approach that features play therapy and parenting support sessions.

I work with children struggling to make sense of their big feelings and difficult experiences. These big feelings and difficult experiences can be a result of trauma, ADHD or Autism diagnoses, and/or various life transitions. Life transitions can include adoption, divorce, attending a new school, or the death of a loved one. I seek out parents who are ready to grow in response to their child’s growth in play therapy. If that sounds like you and your child, reach out so we can take the first step toward understanding and healing together!
